What does it mean to bless and not curse?

What does it mean to suffer to enter glory?
What does it mean to be broken but not cursed?

How do we bless?
How do we undo the things we wish we hadn’t done? The suffering for which we may be responsible?

Oh, thanks be to God.
One day all will be right.
Thanks be to God,
There is forgiveness.
Reconciliation.

And if we look carefully, we’ll see
This is all coming to pass
In our hearts
Much more quickly than we realized.

Oh, thanks be to the God
Who has, and does, and will for all time
Bring us peace
And grace.

So, when we fall flat on our faces,
He will lift us up.
Jesus will lift us up
And we will find that
Broken glass can shine so brightly.
